Fast Lane Series; Part 1

There’s something poetic about the relationship between machine & art, power & finesse. By in large a universal sense, something that you can’t describe with words, you just feel it. Throughout their history automobiles have been the most prevalent representation of this je ne sais quoi of style & design, function & form. The shots contained herein are part one of the six part Fast Lane Series. An editorial focus on the art of auto design & it’s history. imageContent & shots to come from the streets of Columbus’ own Short North neighborhood. Every first Saturday of the month the neighborhood transforms for Gallery Hop. Thousands of people migrate to this 1/2 mile stretch of neighborhood to shop local clothing boutiques, restaurants, & art galleries. The scene is akin to that depicted in Lucas’ American Graffiti where the who’s who & the neardowell’s cruise the strip looking for an adventure.

Most of us have crossed paths with one of these exotic cars at one point in their life or another. For some it’s just a car & garners little more attention than a glance. For others it’s more than just a car…it’s art, it’s style, it’s design. It’s a feeling!
